Let’s face it. Sometimes things happen, and you have to start all over. Electronics need to be disrupted and started from the beginning from time to time. That’s why the reset button was created.
The 360Penguin needs to be reset from time to time as well.
We cannot make any promises that everything with your camera will be perfect and every time you pick up your 360Penguin it is going to shoot, or even start up, perfectly. Sometimes, to just get the camera to return to proper usage, the reset button has to be pushed.
Here’s how you do it
Looking at the front of the camera, turn the power button side to the left.
You will now see the side of the camera with the microphone, the Wi-Fi button, and the movie camera icon. Directly under that camera you will see a button set back into the body of the camera. That is your reset button.
To use it, all you have to do it push the button in and release. For this, you may need to find a pin or a ball point pen to reach into the frame of the camera effectively. Once you do this, the camera will be able to be restarted with no problems.
After you press the reset button, you will not need to reinstall firmware. The reset button will only change the settings you have changed back to the factory settings. Your firmware updates remain.
Your 360Penguin should now be working well.
