360Rize Dream It Do It

360Rize® Hosts Manufacturing Day for Salamanca High School, New York

October 13, 2017 was MFG Day for the Dream It. Do It. WNY program.  360Rize® is no stranger to VR Education and has been teaching students of all ages about VR, Content Resolution and VR Creation for almost a decade.   Evelyn Sabina, the Dream It. Do It. Program Coordinator was very enthusiastic knowing the students would relate to Virtual Reality and was very excited at the hidden gem of 360Rize® in her community.    “It’s all about promoting education for kids and showing them they don’t have to live in the city to get into some really cool technology,” says Michael Kintner, CEO/Founder of 360Rize®.  Michael is a powerful representation to educators and students being born and raised in the area turning a hobby in a three car garage to a thriving patented line of products because of his passion and commitment.

Students, staff, chaperones and press Tom Dinki from the Olean Times Herald attended to learn about the origin of 360Rize®, the process of 360 Video and Photo creation and where 360Rize® rigs have told stories.  Kintner’s invention made it to the Guinness Book of World Records after a Sherpa recorded the first 360 Video on Mount Everest to stories of being submersed in the deep ocean with Fabian Cousteau.  360Rize® gear is being used in 98 countries world wide and in various environments.  Students had hands on 360 Virtual Realty experiences in the VIVE™ with content created from producers using 360Rize® patented Rigs.  Students jumped away from sharks, walked with elephants and were wowed by the colors and sounds at a street festival in Mexico.

“I’m blown away. I’m completely in awe of this technology and that it’s here,” said Kim Dry, a Salamanca High School computer and business teacher. “I’m watching these (students) watch it and they’re extremely impressed, too. Sometimes they let their cool guard down and all the sudden they’re like, ‘Wow.’  In order for our kids to be successful they have to have a foot into this type of technology, and what’s more important than it ever was before is the partnership between the schools and the businesses,” she said.

Michael Kintner has not only been opening his doors to secondary schools but to Colleges/Universities extending himself to Professors for groundwork with 360 VR curriculum.  To continue in his support for VR Education, keep watch for a new program being launched at 360Rize®!
