360Heros CEO and founder Michael Kintner presented on the technology and processes for capturing and creating virtual reality 360 degree videos in End-to-End VR 360 Video Workflow with 360Heros.
His presentation also highlighted key moments in 360Heros’ history including being named in the Guinness Book of World Records for the first 360 video at Mt. Everest’s summit, having our gear used for the Visa 360 Cam at the Sochi 2014 Olympics, being tapped by TIME Magazine to help produce its feature Deep Dive profiling Fabian Cousteau and the infamous shark incident in which our prototype underwater rig was stolen by a shark. 360Heros VRLA School Workshop announced
During the opening keynote, VRLA founder Cosmo Scharf announced 360Heros, in conjunction with VRLA, will host the newly formed VRLA School‘s inaugural workshop. VRLA School is a new initiative from VRLA geared toward educating the virtual reality community about the latest VR technologies and content creation techniques.

During this boot-camp style class the 360Heros production team will train content creators on end-to-end 360 video content creation. This includes equipment overviews, shooting techniques, media management and stitching. With the workshop scheduled for February 27th in Los Angeles, individuals interested in attending should stay tuned for a follow up announcement with registration information.
